SEASIDE, Calif. — Visiting Cal State San Bernardino looked every bit the nation's No. 22 ranked team in a 25–15, 25–19, 25–15 sweep of Cal State Monterey Bay Saturday night in The Kelp Bed.
The final scores told the true tail as the Coyotes never trailed after taking a 3–2 lead in the opening set.
CSUMB got 13 kills from freshman
Anela Visesio (Seaside HS), her second highest total of the season, but it wasn't enough to offset a Coyote team that clicked in all facets of the game.
Also of note in the match,
Jessica Malcolm (Lodi HS) put down nine kills and moved to within 95 of Rheann Fall's Otter career record (1,454). She'll get to that mark if she maintains her current pace of the season's final eight matches.
CSUMB continues its 4–match homestand Thursday night when San Francisco State visits for a 7 p.m. first serve.
GO OTTERS!
