Join the Otter RAFT for the 2025 Alumni Challenge! From October 8–12, alumni, parents, and friends are uniting to support our student–athletes. Every gift strengthens Otter Athletics, helping our teams compete, learn, and thrive.
What is the Alumni Challenge?
Each year, CSUMB Athletics hosts the Otter Alumni Challenge to strengthen our connection with student–athlete alumni and grow sustained, private support for today’s Otters.
- 12 teams. Each team rallies alumni and supporters to increase participation and raise funds.
- Direct impact. Every dollar stays with the team you choose, supporting scholarships, equipment, travel, and other essential program needs.
- Friendly competition. The team with the highest alumni participation rate by October 12 earns a bonus contribution.

Why Private Support Matters
Since 2020, the Challenge has raised $70,000 from 1,100+ supporters, directly benefiting 300+ student–athletes who excel in the classroom, community, and competition.
