Cal State Monterey Bay is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II (NCAA DII) and the California Collegiate Athletic Association. We are committed to abiding by all rules and regulations of these bodies. The NCAA governs the actions of our coaches and student-athletes, and has explicit guidelines that regulate the actions of our program.

Institutional control is a fundamental requirement of NCAA legislation. CSUMB is responsible for ensuring that individuals and groups representing the institution's athletics interests also comply with all applicable rules.

This compliance page is designed to assist many prospective student-athletes, current student-athletes, alumni, athletic representatives/boosters, faculty and staff, and anyone else interested in intercollegiate athletics and CSUMB.
