High School: Ciara Reistad should infuse some much–needed depth to the Otter backline after playing all the way around for Desert Valley League power La Quinta High School…was a 2–year varsity captain and a 2–time All–DVL pick for the Blackhawks…earned Best All–Around Player and Coaches Award recognition for LQHS when she led the Blackhawks in kills, digs and aces…also lettered in softball and basketball as a prep athlete and was an award–winning gymnast as a youth…played club for the highly–respected Rancho Valley VBC.
Personal: Ciara will major in biology at CSUMB…career goal is to become a veterinarian…lists playing the piano, volunteering and dog sitting amongst her hobbies…parents are Robert and Sonia Reistad.
