HAYWARD, Calif.—In a non-conference match, Cal State East Bay defeated Cal State Monterey Bay 14-7 at Pioneer Pool on Saturday afternoon.
CSUMB fell into an early 2-0 hole in the first quarter of play and trailed 7-3 at the half. Coming out of the break, it seemed as if the Otters were poised to make it a game.

Julie Cooper (Wildomar,Calif./Elsinore HS) goal about a minute after made the score 7-5.
The two point differential was the closest this game would be. The Pioneers went on to score five unanswered in route to the 14-7 win.
CSUMB was lead by senior
Christina Keller (Agoura Hills, Calif./Agoura HS) who scored two goals. Claire Pierce lead CSUEB with a six-goal effort.
The Otters return to action next Saturday for a single game at WWPA opponent Santa Clara. First sprint is scheduled for 9:00am.
