SEASIDE, Calif. - The Cal State Monterey Bay women's water polo team racked up its first Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) victory on Saturday morning, a 13-10 win over Sonoma State at the Otter Tank.
Junior #Nikki Smart# tallied a team-high five goals with #Alex Vespremi# and #Katie Sowul# adding two apiece. #Julie Cooper#, #Jackie Walters#,
Ali Woollett# and #Chloe McRae# chipped in one goal each.
The Otters held a 5-4 lead a the break and came out dominating in the third quarter by scoring five goals.
CSUMB plays Cal Lutheran at 4 p.m. today.
