SEASIDE, Calif. - The Cal State Monterey Bay women's water polo team dropped a 16-7 decision to NCAA Division I Arizona State on Sunday at the Otter Tank.
Junior #Nikki Smart# led the Otters with four goals. Senior #Alex Vespremi# contributed two goals and #Katie Sowul# chipped in one goal.
Sophomore #Christina Vournas# recorded six saves in three quarters and freshman #Paige Robinson# nabbed three saves in the final quarter.
The Otters host Sonoma State and Cal Lutheran on Saturday, Feb. 19.
