SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's water polo team finished the Nor Cal Tournament on a good note, with a 9-8 victory over Pacific on Sunday, Feb. 1 in Santa Clara.
The Otters were led by sophomore #Chloe McRae#, who scored four goals. Sophomore #Nikki Smart# racked up three goals, while junior #Lauren Scholz# and sophomore #Tanya Mullen# each added a goal.
Starting goalkeeper
Kristen Prosser recorded 11 saves.
“This was a great start to our season,” said Otters head coach
Gary Figueroa. “Playing four NCAA Division I teams was a great learning experience for us. It was great to see this team's competitive spirit. It would have been easy to give up but we never did.”
