THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. --- Cal State Monterey Bay won two more matches Saturday at the Cal Lutheran Spring Water Polo Tournament defeating the University of La Verne (Calif.) 10-3 in the morning and the University of Redlands 9-7 in the afternoon.

#Chelsea Laning# scored four goals in the first game, more than goalie #Jenna Beer# allowed. The Otters led 6-2 at half. #Lauren Scholz# scored two and #Christy Thompson#, #Erica Bergeson#, #Nikki Smart# and #Cookie Cuzynski# scored the others.

The Otters had to rally in the second game, trailing Redlands 4-3 at half before score three each in the third and fourth periods to win 9-7. #Chloe McRae#, #Christy Thompson# and #Stephanie Salvi# scored two goals apiece to lead the Otters.

Friday, the team beat Concordia University of Irvine, Calif. 8-7 and host Cal Lutheran 11-8. The tournament concludes Sunday as the Otters have matches against Villanova and Fresno Pacific.
