AMARILLO – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's golf team opened its season in seventh place after 36 holes at 21-over on the first day of the West Texas Invitational held at the Tascosa Golf Club.
"Not the way we were hoping to start round one as a team," head coach
Jim Ragan said. "We settled down some in the second round. We have a lot we need to work on, but I am excited about the upcoming season with this group. Khivi had a great day one of her collegiate career. Cathy bounced back and posted a good score in round two. We are looking forward to the final round tomorrow."
