HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State Monterey Bay women's golf team closed the East Bay Fall Invitational at the demanding TPC Stonebrae in seventh place after three rounds to close out the fall schedule. The Otters fired a 54-round score of 25-over.
 
"We made some progress today overall team-wise," head coach Jim Ragan said. "It was a difficult golf course and I believe we learned a lot from the experience. Morgan had a solid final round and did a great job finishing 15th. There is a lot of work to do in the offseason, hopefully we can get some productive work in and come back better in the spring season."
 
Pittman fired a 2-over 74 in Round 3.  Cathy Tong, the team's leader through two rounds, carded a 54-hole score of 20-over to place 30th. Audrey Cheng contributed a crucial round of 6-over 78, providing steady support in the middle of the lineup to place 38th for the tournament. 

Khivi Kaur fought hard to deliver a solid 9-over 81, finishing 44th overall at 27-over.  

The Otters will resume play in the spring when they open play at the LA Spring Kickoff on Feb. 2.
