SEASIDE, Calif. – Four Cal State Monterey Bay women's golf student-athletes were named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, the organization announced.

Representing the Otters were freshmen Audrey Cheng, Khivi Kaur and Esther Sheu, along with sophomore Morgan Pittman, who earned the honor for the second consecutive season.

The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are among the most stringent in collegiate athletics. To be eligible, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur, remain on the team's roster through the conclusion of the season and compete in at least 50 percent of the team's regularly scheduled rounds through the conference championship.

Cheng, a marine biology major, posted a 3.89 GPA while competing in all 10 tournaments during her freshman campaign. She recorded a 78.63 scoring average, highlighted by a team-best fifth-place finish at the CCAA Championship.

Kaur, an All-CCAA honorable mention selection, carried a perfect 4.0 GPA in biology. The freshman from Cerritos ranked second on the team with a 77.11 scoring average over 10 tournaments and recorded three top-10 finishes, including a fourth-place showing at the Desert Invitational.

Pittman, also an All-CCAA honorable mention honoree, earned WGCA All-American Scholar recognition for the second straight year after posting a 3.98 GPA in business administration. The sophomore recorded a 77.58 scoring average over 27 rounds and finished eighth at the CCAA Championship for her top performance of the season.

Sheu, who joined the program for the spring portion of the schedule, posted a 3.92 GPA while competing in seven tournaments during her freshman season. She finished with a 78.58 scoring average and recorded her best finish at the CCAA Championship, placing seventh.

The Otters concluded the 2025-26 season as the CCAA Championship runner-up before placing seventh at the NCAA West Regional.
