SEASIDE, Calif. - Cal State Monterey Bay water polo closed out a strong season in the classroom by placing 10 student–athletes on the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All–Academic Team for the 2024 season.
 
In addition to the 10 individuals, the Otters earned the Team Award with an aggregate grade point average of 3.50.

In order to be recognized, a student–athlete must have carried a GPA of at least 3.20 for the year. Those with GPAs above 3.71 are given "outstanding" distinction while those between 3.41 and 3.70 earn "superior" designation.
