Offield, Carpenter Enjoy Encore Performances On All–CCAA Team

Sophomores Zoe Offield and Isabel Carpenter bring Otter All-CCAA total to 11

April 19, 2022

SEASIDE, Calif. — Cal State Monterey Bay sophomores Zoe Offield (Stockton/Tokay HS) and Isabel Carpenter (San Luis Obispo HS) both earned repeat spots on the All–CCAA golf team announced by the conference office Tuesday.

Offield is a member of the team for the third consecutive season after earning her second consecutive first team nod. Carpenter was an honorable mention pick in 2022 after earning first team honors as a freshman in 2020.

"Zoe and Isabel have been incredibly valuable players on our team since they were freshman," says CSUMB Head Coach Jim Ragan. "It is nice to see both of them get the recognition they deserve."

Offield carries a 77.71 stroke average into the postseason. She owns a pair of top 10 finishes this season, including a fifth place finish at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout last month.

For her part, Carpenter owns the lowest stroke average on the team at 77.71 with a pair of top 10 finishes this season. Her 68 in the opening round of the RJGA Palm Valley Classic was the lowest by an Otter in 2021–22 and helped the team set a school record for low team round with a 287.

In four seasons of CCAA women's golf competition, the Otters now have placed 11 players on the All–CCAA teams. That ranks second amongst All CCAA schools.

Next up for the Otters is an expected berth in the NCAA Regional Championship Tournament May 2–4 at Brookside Country Club in Stockton.
