SEASIDE, Calif. -- The Cal State Monterey Bay volleyball team will play it's final game of the 2015 season on Saturday against Cal Poly Pomona and in doing so will celebrate the careers of five seniors.
Paige Myers (Chino Hills, Calif. / Ayala HS), Leana Moleta (Palmdale, Calif. / Paraclete HS), Victoria Clardy (Westminster, Calif. / Marina HS), Rachel Cookus (Thousand Oaks HS) and
Jessica Malcolm (Lodi HS) will cap off illustrious careers at CSUMB that include record breaking performances and many academic achievements.
Four of the five seniors are 2015 Academic All-America nominees, while Malcolm and Myers have earned the Academic Achievement Award from the DII Athletic Director's Association and CCAA Scholar–Athlete honors.
In the record breaking category, we turn to Clardy and Cookus who have smashed career and season records this season. Clardy is now the career blocks and block assists leader. Cookus took the top spot in all-time career digs as a junior and is two digs away from breaking the single-season record for digs, which she will likely surpass during Saturday's game.
