Ty Morris' (Royal Oaks/North Monterey County HS) RBI single in the second inning knotted the game at 1-1 after UC San Diego once again one the board first in the opening inning.

CSUMB broke open the game in the fifth inning with three runs on three hits and a UCSD error.  Morris led off with an infield single and stole second.  He advanced to third on Matt Urakami's single to left field.  Both runners advanced a baes on a balk.  CSUMB added two more runs on Brian Hamm's (Pleasanton/Chabot College) fielder's choice bunt that UCSD bobbled and Mark Hurley's (Hollister/College of San Mateo) single.

Hamm and only he achieved CSUMB's fifth run. He hit a one-out single up the middle.   After stealing second, he took off for third and then scored after the Triton catcher threw the ball away.

With two outs, Bonner singled through the right side to drive in Hurley who reached first on a walk.
