As a Junior in 2013: Co-CCAA Newcomer of the Year… All-CCAA first team… ABCA West Region second team…NCWBA All-West Region second team…Daktronics All-West Region second team…started in 51 of the 53 games played…lead the team in hits (69) and batting average (.347)…second on the team in RBIs (32) and slugging percentage (.467)…selected back-to-back weeks Rawlings/CCAA Player of the Week (April 8-14 & 15-21)…earned ESPN Central Coast Student-Athlete of the Week for April 15-21 after a .529 batting average while hitting for the cycle on top of six singles in the sweep over Cal Poly Pomona (4/19-21)…had CSUMB’s longest hitting streak of 2013 at 14 beginning against Sonoma State (4/7)…ranked second on the team 20 multi-hit games…hit 8-for-16 with three doubles, five RBIs and three runs scored in sweep over Cal State Stanislaus (4/26-28)… hit his first homer in a Otter jersey in the 3-1 victory at Cal State East Bay (2/16)…went 4-for-5 with homer at Cal State San Bernardino (4/12).

As a Sophomore in 2012 at College of San Mateo: All-Golden Gate Coast Conference second team selection…appeared in 138 games…finished with a .319 batting average with 44 hits including nine doubles and a triple…crossed the plate 28 times while driving in 17 runs…struck out only 10 times in 138 at-bats.  
 
As a Freshman in 2011 at College of San Mateo: Batted .350 in 60 at bats…had 21 hits with three doubles…15 RBIs and 17 runs…10 stolen bases.  
 
High School: All-Tri County League MVP & first team selection…
 
Personal: Son of Mark and Tolifili Hurley…has no siblings...is the cousin of Sione Fua of the Carolina Panthers (NFL)…plans on majoring in communication.
