Otters In Sixth After 18 At CCAA Championship

Goff leads the way, tied for ninth

STOCKTON, Calif. — Cal State Monterey Bay finds itself tied for sixth place after the opening round of the 2026 CCAA Men's Golf Championships Monday at the Reserve at Spanos Park.

 The Otters shot 296. They trail leader Cal State San Bernardino by 14 strokes with 36 holes to play.

Junior George Goff (Orlando, Fla./Gardner-Webb University) led CSUMB, tying for ninth individually with an even-par 72. Zaid Khan (Sacramento/CMASAS) closely followed with a 73, good for a share of 12th place. Colin Huang (Corona Del Mar HS/Sonoma State) carded a 74, tying for 18th place.

On the individual leaderboard, Chico State's Naoki Easterday and Cal State San Marcos' Kamron Hopson headline a 4-way tied for first at 4-under.

The 2026 CCAA Mne's Golf Championship Tournament continues with 18 holes Tuesday at The Reserve at Spanos Park.
