SEASIDE, Calif. - Cal State Monterey Bay senior hurler
Hayden Hall has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Pitcher of the Week the conference announced.
Hall went the distance against Cal State San Bernardino, allowing one run on four hits over seven innings in a complete game effort. He did not walk a batter and struck out six.Â
The righthander posted five 1-2-3 innings, and the Yotes never had more than one base runner in an inning.Â
Hall now ranks second in the CCAA with a 3.04 earned run average and fourth in strikeouts (52).
This is the first career CCAA Pitcher of the Week for the senior from Rancho Murieta, Calif. Hall nabs the fourth conference weekly honor for the Otters as
Noah Zertuche was named the Player of the Week after the San Marcos series and
James Starkus has been recognized twice.
The first-place Otters (32-10, 17-7 CCAA) will carry a six-game winning streak into their series at Chico State (21-21, 10-14 CCAA). The four-game set will start on Friday, April 24.
