SEASIDE, Calif. - Cal State Monterey Bay senior
Noah Zertuche was named the FloCollege/CCAA Player of the Week the conference office announced.

The honor is the first of the career for Zertuche and the third on the season for the Otters as
James Starkus has claimed the award twice in 2026.
Zertuche batted .636 (7-for-11) with two doubles, a home run, five RBI, and nine runs scored. The senior collected hits in each contest and scored multiple runs in three of the four contests against Cal State San Marcos.

Zertuche slugged 1.091 and sported a .667 on-base percentage as the Otters took three of four games from the Cougars.
The Hayward, Calif., native scored four runs in the series opener, and had four hits in the third game of the series.
Zertuche has now hit safely in five straight games to raise his season average to .263.Â
Cal State Monterey Bay (28-10, 13-7 CCAA) holds a two-game lead at the top of the CCAA standings. It will face third-place Cal State San Bernardino (19-17, 11-8 CCAA) in a four-game series starting Friday, April 17. All four games are scheduled to be available on FloCollege.Â
