Otters Lead The Way On WWPA All-Academic Team

CSUMB places 22 on league’s academic honor roll

SEASIDE, Calif. — Cal State Monterey Bay dominated the Western Water Polo Association's All-Academic Team with 22 members as announced by the conference Wednesday.

A total of 96 student-athletes were honored for their performances in the classroom. In addition to CSUMB's 22 total selections, Biola followed with 19. Salem led the East Region with 16 while Fresno Pacific and McKendree each totaled 14.

To qualify for the WWPA All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have compiled a 3.0 cumulative GPA during full-time attendance for a minimum of one semester or two quarters during the current academic year.
