TURLOCK – The Cal State Monterey Bay track & field team started off the CCAA Championships with personal bests and marks that secured finals appearances.
Taylar Yost advances with a personal best 64.88 in the 400m hurdles to place sixth overall. Her mark breaks her own record she set in 2023.

Erik Bromley opened his first championship at the collegiate ranks by moving on in the 1,500m with a 4:03.77, crossing the line with the eighth best time on the first day of competition.
In the final of the 10,000m, senior
Jaime Gonzalez finished fourth overall with a time of 31:22.73.
The Otters will continue their postseason tomorrow at the Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium.
