SEASIDE, Calif. – The No. 19-ranked Cal State Monterey Bay baseball team once again has a conference series altered due to expected inclement weather. The series that boasts the top two teams in the conference will now meet for two doubleheaders.
Cal State San Marcos will host the Otters for the first of two doubleheaders on Friday, March 22, with first pitch scheduled for 11 a.m. The two teams will then meet on Saturday for another twin-bill that will begin at Noon from the CSUSM Baseball Field.
CSUMB enters the weekend atop the CCAA standings with a 17-7 overall record and a 13-3 mark in conference play. CSUSM is 13-8 overall and 12-4 in league contests.
The Otters have won 10 of their last 11 games, including a sweep this past weekend over Stanislaus State.

Nico Hartojo was named the NCBWA and CCAA Player of the Week after batting .714 against the Warriors. The Otters rank fourth in the country with a .349 team batting average.
