Women’s Basketball Notebook: Otters Head To The City For Opening Weekend

Women to face Academy of Art, Holy Names at S.F. State Nov. 11-12

SEASIDE, Calif. — The Sarah Hopkins-Chery era begins in ernest this weekend when the Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team travels to The City for the Gator Invitational Friday and Saturday (Nov. 11–12) in The Swamp on the San Francisco State campus.

The Otters will face Academy of Art Friday and Holy Names University Saturday. Both games will tipoff at 3 p.m.

CSUMB will play its first games under Hopkins-Chery, who came to CSUMB this summer after posting a 103–66 records the seven previous seasons at UC Merced.
