SEASIDE, Calif. — The Cal State Monterey Bay volleyball team and
Breast Cancer Assistance Group of Monterey County (BCAGMC) are teaming up to Dig for The Cure when the Otters host Cal State Dominguez Hills in The Kelp Bed Friday night. There will be prizes, giveaways, contests and opportunities to donate with proceeds going to benefit BCAGMC.
All fans will have the opportunity to participate with prizes and merchandise available including gel bracelets, t–shirts and signed NCAA volleyballs. Fans will also have the opportunity to win free food and discounts from Buffalo Wild wings, Chipotle and Myo Frozen Yogurt.
All of this will take place against the backdrop of an important match for the Otter volleyball team (11–7, 5–5 CCAA) as it continues its march to it first postseason berth of its NCAA Division II era.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and first serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for all fans with CSUMB students, faculty and staff admitted free.
Fans who can't make Friday night's match can catch the Otters in action again on Saturday night when they host Cal State L.A. in The Kelp Bed for another 7 p.m. first serve.
