SEASIDE, Calif.- The Cal State Monterey Bay baseball team dropped the opening game of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) series Friday, to visiting Chico State at the Otter Baseball Field, 4-2.
Scoreless through the first two and a half innings, the Otters jumped on the board first behind the reigns of senior right handed pitcher #Scott Tully#. Junior #Jared DeCastro# led off the inning with a hard hit ball to right field, then drew the balk off the arm of junior Wildcat pitcher Brian Buckham to advance to second. DeCastro scored, before the inning ended.
