UPCOMING GAMES:
The Otters return to CCAA play this weekend when they host the Gators of San Francisco State.

PREVIOUS WEEKEND: CSUMB started off the Mizuno Tournament of Champions on a strong note, defeating No. 2 Hawai'i Pacific, 5-4, on day one. The Otters ended the tournament with a 3-3 record.  Freshman #Angelina Orozco# was selected to the All-Tournament team after having an outstanding weekend.  She went 11-for-18 (.611) with a double and a triple.  Orozco crossed the plate five times for the Otters while batting in two runners.

CCAA STAT RANKINGS: #Shae Olds# - 3rd in home runs (6) and 3rd in RBI (25).  #Jenny Montez# - 5th in runs scored (27), 3rd in triples (2), 1st in walks (24) and 9th in on base percentage (.442). #Jamie Moon# - 3rd in sacrifice bunts (10) and 2nd in doubles (10). #Diane Ortiz# - 4th in ERA (2.03), 2nd in opposing average (.210), 9th in batters struck out (69), 4th in batters struck out looking (34) and 5th in wins (9). #Jessica Moon# - 8th in ERA (2.42), 2nd in lowest number of runs allowed (19)

NCAA STAT RANKINGS: CSUMB is ranked fifth in double plays per game, averaging .59 a game. #Jenny Montez# is ranked 13th in walks (.77 per game).  #Diane Ortiz# is ranked 11th in shutouts after accumulating five this season thus far. #Nicole Garcia# has recorded three sacrifice flies this season, ranking her 13th in the nation.

THE GATORS:
San Francisco State (14-17, 9-7 CCAA) went 2-4 at the TOC in Turlock with wins over Hawaii-Hilo and Chaminade. Players to Watch: Karolyn Gubbine (.375 BA, 11 R, 10 RBI, 2 HR, 1 3B, 4 2B, 6 SB); Alyssa Esquibel (284 BA, 14 RBI, 3 HR, 4 2B). 



BASEBALL
UPCOMING GAMES:
CSUMB begins a four-game conference series against Cal State East Bay with a doubleheader on Friday in Seaside. The next day, the Otters travel to Hayward to wrap up the series with a twinbill against the Pioneers.

PREVIOUS WEEKEND: The Otters were swept by the Warriors of Cal State Stanislaus this past weekend.

THE PIONEERS:
Cal State East Bay (11-21-1, 6-18 CCAA) has won two of its last three games including a 11-10 win over Sonoma State.  Players to Watch: Stephen Gatehouse (.375 BA, 47 H, 29 R, 19 RBI, 3 HR, 9 SB); Nick McManus (.356 BA, 42 H, 18 R, 28 RBI, 12 2B)



WOMEN'S WATER POLO
UPCOMING GAMES:
The Otters host the UC Santa Cruz club team on Friday before welcoming Concordia University - Irvine and Cal State East Bay on Saturday.

PREVIOUS WEEKEND: CSUMB held an Alumni Game this past Saturday, welcoming former Otters the chance to jump back into the pool and show their stuff to our young current team.

THE EAGLES: Concordia (11-10) has dropped its last four games, topped by a 23-3 loss to No. 5 Hawaii. In the last CSUMB-CUI matchup at the Roadrunner Invite, the Eagles came out on top with a 10-6 victory.

THE PIONEERS: Cal State East Bay (18-9, 8-1 WWPA) was ranked 19th in the country last month and have won seven of its last 10 games.
