ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay men's basketball team was not able to find a rhythm on Thursday night against Sonoma State, falling to the Seawolves 74-47 at the Wolves' Den.

Senior #Sean Jergo# led the Otters with 12 points and six rebounds. Senior #Jamelle Tolliver# added nine points and three assists. 

The Otters trailed 38-24 at the break after shooting 28.0 percent from the field.

Despite being a second-half team all season, CSUMB just couldn't get a spark in the offense and finished with a season low 2-for-19 (10.5 percent) from behind the 3-point line.  Going into this game, the Otters were ranked second in free throw percentage with 73.4 against conference opponents. After shooting 54.3 percent (19-for-35) tonight, CSUMB saw its percentage drop to 71.5 percent.

The Seawolves out-rebounded the Otters 41-34.

Sonoma State was led by Will Olsem with 24 points.

CSUMB (13-5, 9-5 CCAA) completes a four-game road trip on Saturday, Feb. 6 at Humboldt State. Tip-off is 4:30 p.m.
