HAYWARD, Calif. – In the men's soccer conference opener, the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters recorded a 2-0 shutout over Cal State East Bay on Friday afternoon.
CSUMB took a 1-0 lead in the first half when #Gabe Glass#'s header found the back of the net. #Andrew Breault# added an insurance goal in the 82nd minute.
"Men came together today for their first complete effort," said head coach #Artie Cairel#. "Defensively, they were very organized and stingy."
The Otters (1-3) travel to southern California to take on the Tritons of UC San Diego on Sunday, Sept. 13. Kickoff is 2 p.m.
