TURLOCK, Calif
. – The Cal State Monterey Bay baseball team dropped a pair of games to the Warriors of Cal State Stanislaus on Saturday at Warrior Field. 

The final scores were 11-3 and 13-1.

Senior #Matt DeJesus# led the Otters, going 5-for-7 at the plate with a home run.

In game one, the Warriors scored four runs in the first inning, followed by two more runs in both the third and sixth innings. 

The Otters got on the board in the seventh inning. #Niko Kanakaris#, #Andrew DeGarmo# and #Jason Okamoto# hit three consecutive singles to load the bases. Senior #Shea Davis# and junior #Daniel Barras# each hit a RBI singles.

Stanislaus scored three more runs in the bottom of the seventh on three hits and a CSUMB error.

DeJesus hit a leadoff home run at the top of the eighth to end the scoring at 11-3.

In the nightcap, Stanislaus scored three runs in the second inning followed by 10 runs in the sixth inning.

CSUMB's lone run came in the seventh and final inning.  Ryan Chagonjian stuck out but reached first on a throwing error by CSUS's catcher. Cody Guarnera and Brent Sargenti hit back-to-back singles to load the bases. DeGarmo recorded a RBI single to bring Chagonjian across the plate, preventing a shutout.

CSUMB and Stanislaus will conclude its four-game series on Sunday, March 29 at Otter Baseball Field. First pitch is at 12 p.m.
