SEASIDE, Calif. – Despite an early lead, the Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team had to settle for a 1-1 tie in CCAA action versus Cal Poly Pomona, Sunday afternoon at the Otter Soccer Complex.

The Otters were forced to play past regulation for the fifth time this season, resulting in their third double-overtime tie.

Just two minutes into the game, the Otters jumped on the board.  Freshman #Gabe Glass# scored on a header from junior #Grant Robson#'s corner kick.

The Broncos responded at the beginning of the second half with a goal in the 50th minute.  Kevin Ramirez scored on a pass from Tyler Reinhart.

Senior goalkeeper #Brenden Baca# recorded eight saves with senior #Riley Johns# and Glass blocking two open goal shots.

CSUMB (3-8-3, 2-5-3 CCAA) continues its five-game homestand on Friday, Oct. 16, hosting Sonoma State at 3:00 p.m.
