SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's volleyball team fell to 0-4 on the 2008 season after a four-set loss (25-17, 20-25, 25-23, 25-19) to the Warriors of Merrimack College in the closer of the Coaches Choice Otter Classic.

Freshman #Rheann Fall# nabbed her first double-double with 15 kills and 22 digs.  Juniors #Kerri Sudarsana# and #Annique Melese# added nine kills each. 

CSUMB earned a season-high nine aces with freshman #Dionna Lucas# leading the way with three. Three Otters besides Fall scored double digits in digs; #Katie Bos# (11), Lucas (12) and Melese (10).

CSUMB (0-4) hosts the Otter Invitational this Friday, Sept. 5 and Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Otter Sports Center. The five-team tournament consists of No. 10 Western Washington University, Eastern New Mexico University, William Jessup University and CCAA opponent Cal State Stanislaus.
