LOS ANGELES --- CSU Los Angeles swept a doubleheader against the Cal State Monterey Bay baseball team on Saturday, winning the first game 15-10 and the second 13-3.
The Otters' offense kept them in the first game. They started with three runs in the top of the first and two more in the second after CSUMB Starter #Brian Callen# (1-2) gave up five runs in the first. CSULA broke the game open in the third with eight more runs in third.
#Nolan Labrucherie# knocked in three runs to lead CSUMB and #Shea Davis# had 2 RBIs. Norman Hebert pitched the final 3 1/3 innings without giving up a run.
CSUMB fell behind early in the second game as well. Starter #Michael Trump# gave up 12 runs (7 earned) on 12 hits in the first 2 2/3 innings. #Justin Rios# led CSUMB at the plate with a 2-3 day with a run and an RBI.
