OPENING TIP:
CSUMB closes out the month of November with a pair of games in the Cal State Stanislaus Thanksgiving Classic. The Otters take on Notre Dame de Namur on Friday, Nov. 28. The following day, CSUMB competes against Academy of Art University.
LOOKING AHEAD:
CSUMB plays host to Bethany College on Tuesday, Dec. 2, in its home opener at the Otter Sports Center. The Otters begin CCAA conference play on Friday, Dec. 5 against Chico State and then a match-up against Cal State Stanislaus the following day.
SCOUTING THE ARGONAUTS:
Notre Dame de Namur sufffered a 77-63 loss to Saint Martin's in the fi nal game of the Phoenix Inn DII
Shootout. Ashley Wilson led NDNU with 17 points and Britni Rathke recorded her third straight double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds.
SCOUTING THE URBAN KNIGHTS:
AAU fell 95-56 to the defending NAIA National Champions of Vanguard University as the Lions made 15
three-pointers on Nov. 22. Lorraine Etchell led the Urban Knights with 11 points and Levalasi Key pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.
RECORD WATCH:
Senior #Dana Andrews# is about to add another career record to achievements after her 1,000 point milestone accomplishment on Nov. 15 against University of Mary. Andrews is 19 steals shy of current record holder

WILSON CCAA PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Cal State Monterey Bay forward #Dana Andrews# was named Wilson California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 10-16. Andrews, a 5-foot-11 senior from San Luis Obispo, Calif., averaged 22.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.0 steals a game in helping the Otters go 1-1 at the Notre Dame de Namur Tournament over the weekend. Her 44-point output in the two games helped her eclipse the 1,000-career point total and became the fi rst Cal State Monterey Bay player in school history to reach that plateau. Andrews opened her 2008-09 season with a solid outing in a victory over the University of Mary on Saturday as she scored 22 points, while making fi ve-of-nine fi eld goal attempts from behind the three--point arc. She followed that performance with a team-high 17 points against Western Oregon on Sunday.
