SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's volleyball team dropped a four-set match (21-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-12) to Hawai'i Pacific University tonight at the Kelp Bed. The Otters fall to 4-12 as the Sea Warriors improve to 3-10.
Junior #Alisha Thomas# earned her first double-double of the season with 13 kills and 10 digs. Freshman #Tiffaney Riggs# led the Otters with five blocks.
The Sea Warriors were led by sophomore Kelly Balaney who registered 14 kills and five blocks. Sophomore Tricia Yoshimura nabbed 25 digs.
Both teams recorded 10 blocks.
The Otters returns to their conference schedule, hosting Cal State L. A. on Friday, Oct. 3. First serve is at 7 p.m.
