LA VERNE – The Cal State Monterey Bay track and field team closed out a multi-weekend trip at the Leopard Invitational held at Ortmayer Stadium. The Otters also showcased their talents at the Bryan Clay Invitational that marks their final tune-up before the CCAA Championship.

Ali Keith had quite the weekend for the Otters. Young started out the Southern California trip by posting the third fastest time in the 800m in program history with a 2:17.48. She then clocked the No. 4 time in the CSUMB annals in the 1,500m with a personal best time of 4:44.56 at the Bryan Clay.
Keith, after clocking her second fastest 5,000m of her career came back on Saturday to run a 4:42 to move to No. 3 in the record book.
Reese Colton had no issue tackling a big meet, competing in the 5,000m to finish with a time of 18:00.61 that broke the program's freshman record.
Junior
Cassidy Andreadakis competed in both the 800m and 1,500m runs. In the 800, Andreadakis recorded a time of 2:25.24 and followed with a 1,500 time of 5:01.37.
The Otters will train through the week as they prepare for the CCAA Championships that will begin on Wednesday, April 29, and be hosted by Cal State San Marcos.
