August 01, 2025

CORAL SPRINGS, Florida – The 2024-25 WGCA All-American Scholar Team was announced and three Cal State Monterey Bay student-athletes were among the 1,547 women's collegiate golfers from 414 programs recognized with the prestigious honor. Seniors Tilda Kvarnrud, Mia Golovich and newcomer Morgan Pittman were honored.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievement.

To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher. Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season. Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.

Kvarnrud and Golovich garnered CCAA All-Academic honors and were named to the Spring Honor Roll. Kvarnrud qualified for the NCAA West Regional.

The Otters open their 2025-26 season at the West Texas Women's Invitational. The two-day tournament will start with 36 holes on Monday, Sept. 29, at the Tascosa Golf Club in Canyon, Texas.
