Otters Fall at San Francisco, 49-38

Cheyanne Whitfield records first double-double

SAN FRANCISCO – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team dropped its Saturday matinee against San Francisco State, 49-38, at The Swamp.
 
Junior transfer Cheyanne Whitfield recorded her first double-double in an Otter uniform, scoring 12 points while pulling down 11 rebounds. Whitfield shot 6-of-15 from the floor and dished out four assists.
 
Jayden McNeal nearly tallied her second straight double-double, pouring in 12 points and grabbing nine rebounds.
