Otters Taken Down on the Road by No. 19 Cal Poly Pomona

Whitfield scores CSUMB career-high 19 points

POMONA, Calif. – Junior transfer Cheyanne Whitfield scored 19 points but it was not enough as the No. 19-ranked Cal Poly Pomona Broncos earned a 90-55 victory Thursday evening at Kellogg Arena.
 
The junior transfer from West LA College poured in a career-high 19 points in an Otter uniform on 7-of-11 shooting, including a 3-for-4 mark from three to lead the team.
