Otters Fall in Series Finale

CSUMB drops last game, 6-4

CHICO – The Cal State Monterey Bay baseball team dropped the series finale on the road at Chico State on Sunday at Nettleton Stadium, 6-4. After the series split, the Otter move to 27-17 overall and 23-13 in conference play.

Sergio Solis led the Otters with three hits and KW Quilici tallied two hits and drove in a pair.

The two runs in the ninth proved to be the difference as the Wildcats earned the win on a walk-off home run.

The Otters will play a mid-week contest against Menlo College on Tuesday, April 23. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
