TURLOCK – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team dropped it conference opener against Stanislaus State, 69-48, Saturday at the Fitzpatrick Arena.
The Otters raced out to an early first quarter lead but fell in the remaining three to move to 1-4 on the season.
CSUMB outrebounded Stan State, 42-40, but could only muster 32-percent shooting from the floor.

THEY'VE GOT NEXT… The Otters continue CCAA play on the road as they travel south to face Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State LA. CSUMB opens the slate of contests on Thursday, Dec. 5 at the Toro Dome. The Otters then face the Golden Eagles on Saturday, Dec. 7.
