DEARBORN, Mich. — Freshman Liam Allder (Sundsvall, Sweden) carded a final round 77 to finish in a tie for 70th place at the NCAA Division II Men's Golf National Championship Wednesday at the TPC of Michigan. He moved up three spots to his final placement as one of only two CCAA players in the 108–golfer field.

Allder found himself in the hunt after firing a 1–over 73 in Monday's opening round. But he played Tuesday's front nine at 7–over to fall out of contention.

Joel Sylven of Mussouri–St. Louis captured the NCAA title after tying with Keegan Bronnenberg of Indianapolis at 2–under 214. Samuel Trueba of King University and Nick Westrich of Central Missouri with the only others to finish in the red at 1–under 213 each.

The NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament officially ends to 2021–22 golf season for CSUMB.
