SEASIDE, Calif. — In a difficult time requiring strong leadership, Cal State Monterey Bay Director of Athletics Kirby Garry (@kirbygarry) continues answer the call. Garry will become the second vice president the Division 2 Athletic Directors Association (@DIIADA) for the 2021–22 academic year.

Garry's selection puts him in line to become the association's president in 2023–24.

"I look forward to continuing represent the University and the CCAA on a national platform,"says Garry. "Considering my friends and mentors that have served in this role previously makes it an honor to follow in their footsteps. NACDA and the D2ADA mean the world to me personally and professionally and I'm excited to serve in this leadership position."
