LA JOLLA, Calif. — The Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team looked to ride the momentum from last weeks win into UC San Diego with hopes of an upset on the road.
CSUMB stayed close in the first half trailing by five after the first quarter and eight at intermission. The second half proved otherwise as the Tritons remained hot, outscoring the Otters by scores of 20-11 in the third and 18-13 in the fourth quarter.
McKenna Hill (Saint Boneventure HS) dropped in 11 points in the Otters 75-53 loss.
Christine Golfo (Logan HS) contributed nine points while
Courtney Keaton (Bishop Montgomery HS) recorded an eight points, eight rebound evening.
