SEASIDE, Calif. — The Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team got off to a blazing start by shooting 45.5 percent in the first half to take a 24-point lead into halftime at 41-17. The Otters would need every bit of their lead to get the win in this one as he hosts were able to hold on to a 61-58 win.
The Warriors stormed back in the second half, mainly in the third quarter, as the visitors outscored CSUMB 20-5 out of the break. The Otters were able to bounce back and hold on to their lead with a 15 point fourth quarter.
Victoria Dorn (Seaside HS) led the Otters in scoring with 22 points including 6-of-14 from three point land.
THE GAME WAS OVER WHEN... The Warriors' Sanders-Curry turned the ball over with one second remaining and the Otters leading 61-58
