CARSON, Calif. — Despite have four players in double digit scoring, the Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team was unable to come away with a road win against Cal State Dominguez Hills at the Torodome on Friday night.
CSUMB led by as many as eight in the first quarter, however that was the only quarter in which the Otters won, 16-15. Monterey Bay put four players in double figures including senior
McKenna Hill (Saint Bonaventure HS) who was a rebound short of a double-double (12pts, 9 rbs).
Aubri Smith (Buena HS), Victoria Dorn (Seaside HS), and
Courtney Keaton (Bishop Montgomery HS) chipped in 12, 12 and 10, respectively.
THE GAME WAS STATISTICALLY OVER WHEN… Jocelyne Diaz hit her first of two free throws to give CSUDH a nine point lead with 35 seconds remaining in the game.
LEADING THE WAY: With her 12 points tonight,
McKenna Hill has led the Otters in scoring seven times. That includes the last five games and six of last seven games.

Courtney Keaton led the team with a career-high five steals on Friday night. She hit her previous high of 3 three times the last of which came against UC San Diego earlier this month (Jan. 5, 2017)
