SEASIDE, Calif. -- While the Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team may not have gotten the outcome they had hoped for last weekend, there were positive aspects of the game that will carry over to this weekend road trip to UC San Diego and Cal State San Marcos.
The Otters, while not scoring, have been getting the ball into the box on a consistent basis. CSUMB took a combined 11 shots last weekend, but were unlucky and unable to finish for a score.

Two tough tasks await CSUMB in the Tritons and Cougars. The Otters are 0-10 all-time against UCSD, but are starting fresh with CSUSM this will be the first time in program history that the two women's soccer programs have squared off.
