SEASIDE, Calif. -- The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team comes in to this week sitting in third place in the CCAA standings, three points behind Stanislaus State after five conference matches. The Otters will go on the road for two games for the first time since September 20.

CSUMB paced the Lumberjacks and Seawolves out of town with 1–0, and 2–1 wins, respectively last weekend and will try to continue its hot start on Friday under the lights vs. UC San Diego. The Otters are 2–6–3 all–time against the Tritons and played to a 0–0 tie in 2014. Against the Cougars, the Otters are 0–1 against Cal State San Marcos. The only matchup against the Cougars came back in 2008.

CSUMB will kick off against UCSD Friday night at 7 p.m. Live stats will be available on OtterAthletics.com. Follow live updates by following @CSUMBSoccer on Twitter.
