SEASIDE, Calif. -- With a record of 5-2, 2-1 CCAA the Cal State Monterey Bay Men's Soccer team seeks to capture its best conference start in program history. They can accomplish that with a win against Humboldt State on Friday, giving the Otters their best mark since joining the CCAA in 2004.
The Otters came into the week ranked No. 8 in the NSCAA West Regional Poll. Through seven games in 2015 season, CSUMB has had a goal scored by eight different players. Of that group,
Michael Maul (Danville, Calif./San Ramon Valley HS), Alejandro Garcia (Oxnard, Calif./Hueneme HS) and
Emmanuel Corona (Los Angeles, Calif./John C. Fremont HS) have scored two.
Monterey Bay will kickoff against the Lumberjacks on Humboldt State on Friday at 3:00 p.m. and against the Seawolves of Sonoma State on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
