ROHNERT PARK, Calif.

“I was proud of our fight tonight especially with Lauren Shacklock, Erin Stoddard, and Molly Kennedy stepping up to the challenge,” said Head Coach Jody Garry. “Everyone works very hard on our team and it shows.”

Freeno added eight digs and one ace to her match-high kills.  Senior Lauren Shacklock (Tehachapi/Tehachapi HS) racked up eight kills while seniors Dionna Lucas (Redlands/Arrowhead Christian HS) and Monique Sena (Valinda/Bishop Amat Memorial HS) anchored the back court with nine digs apiece. Senior Melanie Lashbrook (Truckee/Tahoe Truckee HS) and junior Erin Stoddard (Cameron Park/St Francis HS) each registered six kills.

The Otters strongest performance came in the second set when they hit .312 with 13 kills and only three errors.  CSUMB remained close throughout the entire set, never allowing the Seawolves to get a larger lead then four points.
